I installed it for use with my XM Satilite radio...they sound great with the radio. This is not an install for the faint of heart...the XM is a royal pain in the but...I had to mount the indoor antena to get any reception to the back of my seat, the intergration took all day and them some to get the bugs worked out!!! Riding with classic road tunes is just too cool. The speakers are self-amplified, and have plenty of quality sound. I can hear mine at 70mph without a windshield. The install takes time, but it's worth it. One caution: be sure you like the mounting location before you buy.
