I found them cheaper on an ebay store. The sound isn't the highest quality when cranked all the way up and just sitting still. But I am quite happy with them. These things SUCK! Amplified? Amplified? My clock radio is louder with better sound. Don't waste your money. Buy a small radio and bungee it to the handle bars. I will be returning these ASAP or selling. VERY CHEAP SPEAKERS! Review Details 13 out of 14 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I installed it for use with my XM Satilite radio...they sound great with the radio. This is not an install for the faint of heart...the XM is a royal pain in the but...I had to mount the indoor antena to get any reception to the back of my seat, the intergration took all day and them some to get the bugs worked out!!! (5 stars) reviewed on 02/01/04 bysquirrel (oxherder) from Metairie, LA, United States, for a 2003 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: Some riders have said that a true cruiser is no place for a radio, but the first time you draw stares at stoplights or wonder at your dealer you'll be convinced. Riding with classic road tunes is just too cool. The speakers are self-amplified, and have plenty of quality sound. I can hear mine at 70mph without a windshield. The install takes time, but it's worth it. One caution: be sure you like the mounting location before you buy. MHInstruments has quality pics of plenty of installs on multiple models at their website. Review Details 7 out of 7 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
