The sound quality and volume at lower-than-freeway speeds is satisfactory, however, at speeds over 65, the volume has to be turned up so loud that the sound distorts considerably. I would like to see the manufacturer include a lighted power switch and inline fuse holder, or, if CruiserCustomizing would offer these items in a separate kit, the installation experience would be better. I had to purchase these items at Walmart because none of the local bike shops carried lighted on/off power switches. I tapped into a hot lead inside my headlight casing so I didn't have to run wires very far. I used a plastic mounting bracket off my kids bike which was designed for holding a reflector and mounted the lighted power switch on a screw which supports my windshield mounting bracket. This puts the lighted switch in an area where I can easily see and reach, yet which is not too visibly offensive.
