I use a Walkman for a radio and I am very surprised at how they sound. I can hear music/weather at 80 mph with no problem. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants music while they ride. (5 stars) reviewed on 06/06/03 byMike from Bridgeport, PA, United States, for a 2006 Street Glide Colbalt Blue 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: A great addition to my bike. I mounted the speakers to my windshield mounts. My stereo is also mounted to the windshield supports. Can hear the speakers at highway speeds except for real windy days. Instructions are really good. (5 stars) reviewed on 03/03/03 byKYShadowRider (bgkyshadow) from Bowling Green, KY, United States, for a 1995 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: What a great product! I am really glad to have these installed. Installation takes a while and I debated where to install. Ended up drilling a hole in my shield mount brackets to put the speakers down low and also somewhat protected from rain, etc. Sound great, looking forward to riding with tunes this year. Installation takes some time to make it look good. Need to buy some 16 ga wire, fuse holder, 5 amp fuse, tape, and a switch. I bought an illuminated rocker switch and installed on the shield support as well hidden behind the speaker. If you want tunes on your cruiser, this is the way to go! I am using a Sony MiniDisc player which holds 5 hours of music on one disc! Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
