Like others have mentioned, I had to splice in the factory connectors, but that was easy. This cleans up the back of my bike perfectly. There is still a lot of clearance for lowered bikes as well. I have saddle bags and they don't fit with the new light. Also a little disapointed it did not come with a lic plate bracket as shown in all the pics. Got rid of that old Lunch Box stock tail light. I hope this light will stand up to the elements, it's only made of plastic, but I guess it will not rust. The new bracket is nice and polished chrome, and the Lic. Plate is at a nice angle. Installation was very easy, I hate working on Cars or Bikes and am not machanically inclined at all, but the instructions were great and walk you right through the install. The wires have all the right plugs on them to plug right into the wiring harness under the seat on my 2001 750DC. The only thing that did not work were my Lic. plate bolts, I had large ones with rubber grommets so there was no chance of rattling, but they would not fit the small holes on the new bracket. Tomorrow I'll get new lic. plate bolts with 4 rubber washers and all will be fine. This light cleans up the rear of the bike so nice, but now the Signal lights (stock ones) look very large and out of place, so I guess I'll have to change these l...
