For city-riding it is Much better then stock one. As far it is narrow - much esier to hold bike in a traffic-jam. Little bit harder than stock, but you will not notify difference in regular routine. Installation - is Nightmare, if you are not ready to "place a hands" on it. It's unable to simply unpack and place this seat to my 2006 vt1100c. As far rear end of the seat is up to 15cm over the rear fender. If you'll try to force it down - most likelly you'll break the seat carcas. I've cut-off the rubber stubs (only rear pair left) together with it's rivets, clue some rubber ribbons instead of stubs. Now it fits. There are bumpstops about midway back on the seat that cause it to sit high preventing the rear of the seat from resting tight with the rear fender. I had to bolt it down which seams to put some extra pressure on the rear bracket, but in the end it looks friggin beautiful. This mod is the single mod that has made the biggest difference in my bike's looks and feel. Its not as squishy as the stock seat, so acceleration is transmitted more directly to my bottom and makes the bike feel much more responsive. Its nice and tight giving the bike a very sporty and attractive look. My first impression is that the stock seat may be a bit more comfortable on the spirit 1100's, but after an hour long ride I was surprised to realize that I had no discomfort at all dispite the firmer saddle.
