The fast-back really adds a touch of class. I would have prefered as solo seat but was not too sure if it would good with the stock rear fender. Very similar to the stock, but with way better back support. No more butt ache after a 30 minute or longer ride. I kinda like the tapered rear a little better on the fastback, yet I couldn't passup the deal I got on the squareback. My initial thoughts - I thought it would be a little more compact. It has a fair amount of padding. I sit forward just a bit more than on the stock seat and get way better back support. After 20 minutes, the stock seat would be bottoming out and this was still extremely comfortable (I'm 5'8", 180 for reference). So far I like it. I'll check back after my trip to Colorado (from Minnesota). Got back from the trip to CO and I'll say the fastback passed the test. I rode about 2,500 miles over 6 days and I can honestly say it wasn't too bad. I won't say there was never any discomfort, but not too bad considering the miles.
