Just a little lower and it makes a big difference. Plans are to give it a few hundred miles soon. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I sit a little lower and have more back support. Since it's narrower than the OEM seat, my legs aren't as spread out. The back part of the seat is about the same size as the OEM, so a passenger will still be comfortable. Overall, the change in the look is subtle and it fits nicely without any gaps. I did have a hard time with the installation considering it's just a seat! It didn't seem to fit well over my throw-over saddlebags and took a lot of effort to get it bolted down. Also, the directions made it sound like it was supposed to be mounted under the gas tank tab and not in the same place as the OEM seat. Once I got that cleared up I did get it bolted down with some help. While the seat-pan isn't shaped the same as the OEM, I don't see any problems with it. Update: After several rides, I wish I bought this 15,000 miles ago! It is really comfortable. The fitment isn't really an issue with throw-ove... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? It looks great on the bike too. Way better than the bulky mustang vintage wide touring seat. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
