(5 stars) reviewed on 09/06/09 byByron (bporre) from Cochise, AZ, United States, for a 2008 Red & Black 1100 Virago wrote: This seat is WAY better than the stock seat. Same installation, so there are no surprises. On the stock I always had a tendency to slide forward. After about 150 miles it would get uncomfortable for me. My wife has a bad back and always complained, even after only 20 or so miles. After installing this seat, she can easily go 100 miles prior to making a rest stop. She wanted to know why I never got it before!!! Great seat, great quality, and most importantly - GREAT comfort. I highly recommend this seat!!! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (5 stars) reviewed on 12/19/07 byBuster Spicer (Bustergiant) from Cowes, Isle of Wight, , Americas, for a 1996 Panther black/ Jack Daniels logo 1100 Virago wrote: Top class seat this, better than stock. I am a six foot ten giant and I could sit on this seat for days let alone hours. My partner loves it too, she,s not forced to lay back as with stock. Sissy pad hint:- Use the stock mounting bracket- much neater. Sprayed it black and it look the mutts nutts. Buster Review Details 7 out of 9 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 07/02/06 byGreg Jackson (axion4110) from Cincinnati, OH, United States, for a 1998 1100 Virago wrote: I am very happy with this seat. It got rid of the pushed forward feeling of the stock seat and looks much better. I do sit about 1" higher. I have ridden for hours without any discomfort at all. The passenger seat provides some lower back support which was a good suprise. Installation was pretty simple. I did spend a extra few minutes trying to get the mounting bolt to line up correctly on the left side. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? (5 stars) reviewed on 06/15/06 byMajor Dad (russripp) from Portsmouth, VA, United States, for a 2008 Crimson Red Sunglo Rocker-C 1100 Virago wrote: This seat is much harder than stock, suprisingly comfortable have had it on for a week now and about 300 miles. No numbness like stock. One drawback though. I am 5'10" with a 30" inseam and I can no longer place both feet flat on the ground this seat is sloped upward at the front lifting my lower legs. I may also need to add floorboards in the future, I like to rest my arch on the footpeg. I hope to get a good long ride in this weekend. I'll update this after I get more miles on it. Well I've had this for three months now about 3000 miles and one long trip from Hampton Roads Virginia to Long Island and back over the fourth of July weekend. The seat has given some and now I can comfortably touch the ground. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 01/12/05 byz daddy (zdaddy) from MARYILLE, TN, United States, for a 1998 1100 Virago wrote: By far this is the most valuable accessory I have added. Now my wife likes my quick and nimble Virago and has agreed with me that we are not old enough for a Gold Wing......Yet. With the stock seat my wife was constantly sliding herself off my back and back into her seat. We both had pressure points that limited our rides to 45 minute increments before we had to stop and "walk it off". Now we can actually ride for hours and stop because we want to, not because we have to. At first seat feels hard and firm, but seemed to break in and become more comfortable after several hours of ride time. IF this seat were to get stolen, I would pay to overnight a replacement in before I would put the stock seat back on and ride for any period of time. It's that good. Personally I find the Corbin to be bit more comfortable for the long hauls but my wife as a passenger prefers the Mustang by far due to the wider passenger pad. (4 stars) reviewed on 05/15/02 byDerek Snider (Thoric) from Toronto, ON, Canada, for a 1100 Virago wrote: Nice seat. Much more comfortable than the stock seat, and much nicer looking. Provides some lower back support for the rider, and more padding for the passenger. Some passengers claim less comfort, which may be due to the seat being a little higher, and the sitting position a little futher forward. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful.
