The seat doesn't give the optimum in comfort for me, and butt burn starts to set in after no less than 2 hours. The shortness of the seat compared to the horrible stock unit is annoying, restricting my ability to move around. My 13 y.o. son (large for his age) keeps sliding towards me while riding pillion. He complains about a sore behind sooner than me, well before an hour. Larger passengers enjoys more room than the stock seat due to the reduction in rider space. The seat is also too thick under the sissybar - the latter is actualy constantly pushing down on the seat. Quality seems very high. Apart from having a wrong shape and firmness for me and my son (220 and 150 lb with full gear respectively), the only other dislike is the flaps (for lack of a better word) on both sides of the front seat. I cannot see that they have any function and detracts slightly from the clean look. The seat is a big improvement overall compared to the stock unit, but that doesn't say much. I unders...

Great seat! Firmer than stock, but doesn't bottom out on long rides. Wife loves the seat and 9 x 12 backrest combo, and I like the way they look together on the bike.
