Purchased the new Mustang seat the end of the season and wish I did right away. I did a 100 mile trip with no issues. Love the seat so far Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I bought the bike for my 10 mile commute. Even in that short of distance I found that I was uncomfortable on the stock seat. The seat had very little padding, and I felt like I was sitting on a very narrow "balance" beam. I researched the web for a better seat. I read several reviews regarding Mustang seats. I just received my Mustang Wide Studded Touring Seat with Backrest. The seat was extremely easy to install. The stock seat was held in place with a plastic tongue, while the Mustang seat used a Metal tongue. Mustang seat looked great on the bike. First thing I noticed when riding with the Mustang seat was that the seat had great foam padding, making the ride much easier. I am now comfortable with longer rides. While the seat was "pricey" it is worth every penny. The Mustang seat is an excellent replacement for the stock seat, which will give me many mil... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? The seat has raised me up about 1.5 inches, but that works well for my 6'0" body. I also raised up my windshield a smidge to compensate. The install was incredibly easy-- took less than 10 minutes on my 2012 model. And it looks so great, too! Together, they're an expense, no doubt. But you CAN'T invest in better comfort! But, most importantly, my wife loves the new comfort of the rest seat. We ride two up very often and believe me, when she's uncomfortable nothing goes well for the ride, you know? So this seat is a godsend! I also, purchased the matching Mustang sissybar pad. Well worth it, too! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

While the stock touring seat is more comfortable than a sport type seat, this Mustang seat is extremely comfortable. Rode 475 miles, and was not fatigued. The back support is well worth the extra money as well. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
