The stock seat was not uncomfortable, until you sit in the Mustang seat. There is a drastic change, for the better. It is like going from a wooden bench to a cushioned chair. There is a much softer ride in the saddle, than with the stock seat. W/O the backrest, the support is there for the belt line area, and no fatigue on your back after a number of hours of riding. After I installed the seat, all of about 10 minutes, I HAD to adjust the back rest. The only way to do that, was take the bike for a spin. So I did. 180 miles later, I think I have it adjusted. Now for the engine guard, highway pegs, and driving lights. As Willie Nelson has said: "On the road again...."
