Holy three-piece-seat comfort Batman. With or without the driver backrest, it is supremely comfortable. Only one little complaint. I have a chrome fender rack that I kept for use with the stock seat for solo rides, but the Mustang requires that the mounting bracket be used from the stock seat, so changing out is not very easy. For almost $700 they can afford to include two metal brackets, especially since the seat is for this exact bike, so they can put the right bracket in there

This by far is one of the best purchases I've made. I should have made this my very first mod to my bike. The days of a numb rear end are over.... The driver backrest is a dream, keeps the fatigue down on the back.

Had one of these on my vtx 1800c, went to bike week in Laconia one time with stock seat, very uncomfortable, painfully so. Added the stang seat as soon as possible after that. On the next trip to New Hampshire, seat discomfort was'nt even given a thought . The Mustang seat in my opinion should be the first accessory on any VTX and the driver backrest is a must for anyone with back pain issues. Changed over to the VTX Retro two years ago. First Accessory, The three piece studded touring seat/w backrest. Great workmanship,Great looking seat.

I picked up this seat on my ride to Memphis for "Elvis Week 2007". The ride should not have been to bad only 1100 from Denver, but my butt and back were sooo numb. I picked the seat up in Russiville Arkansas, at the new Huge Honda Dealership. I was looking for a gel pad, but they had the Mustang seat I wanted IN STOCK! They were great there! I got it for $610.00 and the salesman installed it for me in the parking lot, for free. I thought I could do it with my tools from the stock tool pouch. There are some parts that need to be switched and adjusted on the Mustang seat. It probably would have taken me a long time to do this. It took them 20 minutes and we were back on the road in about an hour from when I walked in the door. They even shipped my oem seat to my house1 in Denverfree of charge! THE BEST UPGRADE TO MY VTX TO DATE. The seat does sit you about 1 inch higher and 1 inch forward, but with and without the backrest is so comfortable. It is a completly different feel from the orig...

Seat came in 2 days as promised. Very easy to put on. Perfect fit at tank and I am extremely happy with the driver backrest and my wife likes the wider Mustang backdrest over the stock Honda backrest. Quality is great. The difference in back and arm strain is so much better. When accelerating the backrest and deep seat make a much better ride. The studs on the seat and backrests give the bike a great look. I need to update my picture.
