P{illion seat is great! Much wider and more soft and supportive in a good way than stock! My wife loves it! The riders seat I am not as crazy about. I was somehow expecting....more. Compared to stock...well....there is no comparison! It blows the stock seat away. But I was expecting something much more comfortable than my custom seat that I made and frankly it's not much, if any better than what I made. I'll ammend this rating after my trip in a couple of months. Maybe it just needs a break-in period or something. The would you buy again only has a yes or no, but my true answer is "Maybe"!

Went from DIY chip seat to this. I liked my custom seat, but need something for a passenger. This sits way higher than my DIY seat...guess it is time for risers......comfy though.

I really like this seat! Vast improvement over stock Yamaha. Much more comfortable. Somewhat hard, but you can sit on it a long time w/o "butt-burn". Looks really great. Worth the money. Also get the wide passenger backrest for the mizuhz. The rider's back rest is comfortable. You sit somewhat lower and more forward than stock. Lets me reach my Linbar footrest (finally). Seems to allow better handling since I'm lower in the saddle. update: after 500 miles is getting even more comfortable!

Excellent seat quality, comfort, and feel. Looks like they took a lot of time to design a seat that flows with the V-Star's natural lines. One minor complaint I have is that the seat is made such that it seats me farther forward than the stock seat. It is nice in that the handlebars are in better reach but I feel like I am riding on the gas tank as I can hardly see any seat in front of me. The only other complaint I have is that the passenger seat fits so snugly and the rubber fender rests will not allow over the fender saddlebags between the seat and the fender. I had to make a spacer and get a new bolt for the rear seat fastener to allow my saddlebags to fit. This is only two small complaints as the rest of the features of this seat are outstanding. The back of the seat is cut in such a way to allow my tailbone to rest comfortably on longer rides.

This product really adds to the look of the bike. It is also more comfortable than the stock seat. For me the bike seems to handle better with the Mustang seat. Having said all of the above, I rode the Mustang seat 1,300 miles in the four (4) days after installation. The seat is definitely more comfortable, but I still experienced some discomfort in the seat. It is better than stock, but may not be the complete answer. I am 6'2'' and 295 lbs. The 1,300 mile trip was my first long trip on a motorcycle. UPDATE: The seat gets more comfortable the longer you break it in. I can ride all day without any discomfort.
