The deeply pocketed 16.5” wide driver seat sits you at the ideal cruising angle.
The 12.5” wide passenger seat utilizes Mustang’s unique internal steel support wings.
On the styles without the driver’s backrest, the driver’s back is well supported by the nose of the passenger seat that extends forward to create a full 8” backrest.
The built-in driver backrest offers more features than any other backrest on the market.

Nice riding saddle. I've owned Mustang seats before so when I got my new 2011 Vulcan 1700 Nomad ordered right away. Great saddle and comfortable ride. Especially love the support of the backrest, never had one with a backrest before. Only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that installation wasn't as easy as previous seats. The OEM seat is a 2 piece and this one piece fits but requires some effort to get the nose clip into place and then more effort to align and engage the lock clips to hold the seat in place.
