Love my heritage classic but have always found the original seat uncomfortable. I had it altered by an upholsterer and added a Firehouse custom backrest but still got the "numb bum and more worrying, numb genitals" after about 30 mins of riding. Living in regional australia there was no opportunity to try out different seats on my bike and, being tall with long legs I was worried that the seat wold move me forward and that I would be cramped. After a lot of research I bit the bullet and decided to go with the Studded wide. It arrived about 2 weeks after the order which was pretty good. The build quality is streets ahead of the original harley seat. It was a snap to install and , in fact, fitted in easier than the Harley seat-- I have always struggled to get the tongue into the little slot when replacing the original seat after cleaning. Comfort is much better than the original-- more supportive and better suited to my anatomy-- the dreaded numbness now only occurs after about 2 h...
