I had high expectations that this would be the answer to long rides. To my disappointment this has to be the most uncomfortable seat in the world. Most of my riding is around town, short jaunts, I can't even get out of my neighborhood without some discomfort. I was told to give the seat some time to break in so last Saturday I went on a 120 mile ride. Still no joy, needless to say the dealer where I purchased the seats won't take them back and Mustang won't do anything since I didn't purchase directly from them. Mustang does make what they call a "low down" seat, but those are mainly for the big touring Harley's. If you're looking for more comfort and don't want to sit any lower, but possibly higher, a Mustang seat would be perfect for you. The only sissybars we can confirm will work with a Mustang seat is a Cobra sissybar. Mustang usually can't tell you either way, but Cobra has informed me that their sissybars will work with Mustang seats.
