They directed you to slide the mounting studs in from the end of the billet, but machining slag made this an impossible task. Contacted the manufacturer and they told me that the directions were wrong that instead of sliding the studs in from the end, utilize the notches in the track as the insertion points. I could hardly believe that it was going to be this simple, but low and behold they went right in and I put it together in about five minutes. Admittedly, I was a bit miffed that NC quality control didn't fix the directions - after all, I am not the first person that has had this problem.
