Not quite as difficult as installing the rear cast fender tip but there are two tips to install on the front fender. 2. Cut the threaded rod off of the inside of the front cast tip and burnish it down until smooth with a Dremel or similar tool. 3. The screws provided serve no purpose and the flat nut provided for the threaded connector removed in step 2 doesn't work well if at all. Purchase four 10-24 x 1/2-inch stainless steel commercial grade screws (two oval pan head and two flat head), four flat washers and four 10-24 lock nuts, found at most any hardware store. 4. Purchase a roll of 1-inch wide Scotch brand outdoor weather rated double-sided tape. 5. Secure the double sided tape to the front and rear of the front fender where the tips will be (forget the masking tape, you won't need it). 6.
