This bike vibrates to much for it. I tried to fix it many times but no luck. Hope this helps. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 07/19/08 byaero_head frank (frankmp) from Belleville, IL, United States, for a 98 Green/White 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: Love the Lightbar ! Looks Great ! Very good quality.. Once I got it out of the shrinkwrap (difficult) I removed my old signals (easy) and attached the bar to my bike with 2 bolts (easy), both lights pointed down so I had to remove them to adjust the aim up (difficult) - be sure to adjust aim BEFORE wiring them in. Later I found it easier to simply bend the entire bar up slowly. Wiring the signals and running lights was easy, finding the low beam hot wire was a bit more of a challange for me but I found it (white wire on my bike) - both lights are on when my low beam is on - great ! 2 hour install if I had to do it again. The intallation was pretty straightforward. I am suprised to hear from other readers about the difficullty they had. I am not that mechanically inclined but found the install to be fairly easy. Not as easy to install as I hoped, but not that bad either. Bought mine off e-bay. Looks great and extra light adds visability for the rider and for the guy driving the car - hopefully they will see me coming better now :) Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 07/14/06 bysmtippin (smtippin) from Salt Lake City, UT, United States, for a 2000 - Black 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: Great look. It really completes the retro look I'm going for. Installation was a breeze. I may add a switch later but we'll see. I don't like the wiring instructions provided, so I bought a wiring harness. (even I could do it). Looks great on the Aero. But for the price they could have included a switch. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 06/17/05 bydave (iamdave) from Jeannette, PA, United States, for a 1999 orange and cream 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: I was pleasingly surprised as to how easy this was to install after reading all the reviews and how some folks were having trouble with the wiring. If you follow the instructions carefully, when your done the spots will only be on when the lows are on. (WHICH IS THE LAW IN MANY STATES) Also you will not overload the electric capasity of your stock bike. I was also concerned after reading the reviews about the appearance. I didn't have to pull or push anything to adjust the angle and the lights looked to me like they were factory installed. I was recently at a bike rally and seen a set of cobra lights and I did not think they look as good as NC lights. Cant beat the additioal lights at night either. Now, the wires are visible that come from the spots down to the turn signal lights. My dad has a HD Road King and if it makes any differnece the wires are the same from the spots. (2 stars) reviewed on 05/19/05 byPaul (TwoToneScoot) from Slidell, LA, United States, for a 1999 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: Overall quality of this product is marginal at best. The main problems I have had are the driver lights losen to the point where they spin freely. I have had to make several emergency highway stops to try and tighten them back up. That is no easy task. The chrome is fair. I like the style just wish they were manufactured better. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
