I only have one issue with it. Why did National Cycle leave the elbows exposed where the light bar connects with the lights. They should have made an elbow piece to conceal the wiring so it would not be out in the open weather. If I were to do it over again, I might look at a more finished product. This works well though other wise. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Moving the turn signals was a bit difficult. The wires are just barely long enough, and the fork tubes are just a bit larger diameter below the triple tree. I also chose to wire mine through a relay. I mounted the relay behind the right side cover. I bought a generic relay kit from Schucks, and used the Big Bike Parts Cast switch to run them. It probably wasn't necessary, but I was concerned about having them on the same circuit as my headlight, as the instructions suggest. I'd rather have them separate so they can back each other up in case of a overload. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

joliveto (joliveto) from , , United States, for a 2007 T 1800 VTX1800T (Tourer) wrote: these WILL NOT fit the 1800 Tourer like the picture first off you can not move the turn signals down. the bulbs on the light bar are too big and 1/2 way cover up the turn signals. the product is good, just don't get these and think they will fit the Tourer outta the box. I trusted custom cruisers cause I bought other products from them and when they put it fit the tourer, I thought it would .. problem is I had to go out and pick up smaller bullet lights and replace the original ones. now they look semi OK they don't give off the light the ones in the picture. I'm not blaming anyone for this goof I should have looked myself to make sure this would all fit. also you can't put them on the way the instructions tell you the TOURER windshield won't allow it. you have to GO OUT and get some washers and longer bolts that and hook it up underneath the bar. ((thanks to VTXOA for the help)) if you have a TOURER AND you think your gonna get these and slap them on don't get it. if you have a TOURER... blmicha (blmicha) from Escondido, CA, United States, for a 2006 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Received the product in good shape. I was a little frustrated with the exposed wires, but decided to cover them with black shrink wrap. Then I went to install and discovered that I can't relocate my stock turn signals without leaving a gaping hole in my stock chrome fork covers. I have a 2006 VTX 1800S Spec3. The Spec3 adds extra chrome which for the forks accommodates the turn signals in a specific location. I don't intend to return the lights. Instead, I will modify them buy shortening the bar (brings the lights a little closer to the headlamp) and raising the bracket on the end. This will put the new lamps up and in clearing the turn signals. Extra work I didn't expect, but in the end it's all about "Cruiser Customizing"....It's been 4 months of operation and my ignition switch has failed. I've determined that the plastic switch melted due to the extra current induced by the additional lights. The low beams operate through the ignition swith in it's "static" position. I wi...
