You can hardly see these black brackets on the bike when the bags are on. I'm glad that I didn't spend the extra money on the chrome ones. It comes with the taillight relocation kit, which does show, and that IS chrome. It's a long curved piece that runs along the top of the bags on each side of the fender. It looks pretty good when you get it all together. My only gripes would be that the wires are somewhat exposed when it's all done, and the instructions for this are terrible.
