These are cutting down on the wind that hits my hands. They come with the hardware partially attached, making it very easy and obvious how to put it together. Fit easily into the mirror bolt on my Honda Shadow ACE.

Beings that i just got it,ill know more in regards to how it protects, holds up structure wise in the near future. One note of advice ,i did the ones on my bike by myself, had a little problem geting the mirrors started,on my wifes bike the two of us put them on ,install went much easier,so two is better then one.Update Jan.2nd. had to put on lock tight to keep them both from coming loose, otherwise work just fine.

On my bike these install a little lower then I would want them to, the result of this being that they do not provide full wind blocking for my hands. I will be looking into how i might modify their mounted positions

Purchased these and installed about 3 weeks ago. So far I like them. Very easy to install in about 15 minutes. Have not tested them to see if they keep the rain off my hands while riding yet but I'm sure that day will come. As I ride all year round, I'm hopeful these will keep my fingers from freezing in temps below 32 degrees.

Just installed less than a month ago. Highly effective in the mornings, will test them in the summer. Install took less than fifteen minutes. Watch for deflectors hitting against your tank if you have pullback bars.

I just got these for a trip to the mountains where I knew it would be cold. I am only moderately satisfied with them. the only adjustment they have is to move the brake and clutch lever up or down and to move it closer or farther away from the handle. they do keep the wind off my hands but create some back draft the goes up the back of my glove and can make cold air blow in. Keep the bugs off my gloves. Not sure If i would buy them again, I would try to find another manufacture or get a windshield that does the same thing.

Received the tinted version made for a HD. Called National Cycle and for $20.00 they sent me the proper hardware to install on my VTX 1300. Not sure if I really want to put them on. Maybe I'll try them when I bring my bike out of storage. We'll see how they look and function and if I decide to keep them on.

I was a little skeptical after I first installed these but the more I rode and the colder it got, I realized what a difference they do make. Definitely keeps the bulk of the wind off my hands, keeping my fingers from completely freezing during the ride to work.

A great product for riders that don't like cold/wet hands. It does a good job of deflecting cold air and rain from hitting your gloves directly. They are clear and do not block any visibility. They are very easy to install. You may need to bend the metal brackets slightly to fit directly in front of your hand position (on your bike; on your bars). To adjust after they are installed, just remove the clear plastic parts and bend the black metal brackets to the postition you want. Do not bend the part where the plastic deflectors attach. I found this easy to do with a large crescent wrench set to hold the metal pieces firmly. I don't use them all year.

They came in with a tint. I can live with that. I was a little dissapointed with the brackets. They came in black. i sent them to chrome shop. They fit nicely and they protect your hands from wind. I have gone through 3 very expensive gloves and the wind just went through them. Over all very happy with purchase.

In an earlier review I ripped National Cycle for the price, quality of these hand guards and their customer service. Although they work great and look good I had problems with the quality of the product. In no way do I want this to reflect badly on CruiserCustomizing. They were willing to take steps beyond what National Cycle was doing to remedy my problem. I give CruiserCustomizing 5 stars.

I was really up set because they came with plastic screws to hold them on and I spun the top off the first one I tried to install. So, I replaced all the screws with SS screws and everything was fine until the next day when I went to the bike an saw cracks around all the screws. Although installation is simple there was no instructions, warnings or notices as to why they used plastic screws. I've seen a lot of National Cycle adds demonstrating how their windshields are near indestructible, I just thought the hand guards would hold up as well. National Cycle was nice enough to replace the plastic screws and only charge me $20.00 plus shipping for new hand guards. With that said I love the way the hand guards work. With the heated grips I added last year I will be comfortable riding all year.
