So far I like them. Very easy to install in about 15 minutes. Have not tested them to see if they keep the rain off my hands while riding yet but I'm sure that day will come. I am only moderately satisfied with them. the only adjustment they have is to move the brake and clutch lever up or down and to move it closer or farther away from the handle. they do keep the wind off my hands but create some back draft the goes up the back of my glove and can make cold air blow in. Called National Cycle and for $20.00 they sent me the proper hardware to install on my VTX 1300. Not sure if I really want to put them on. Maybe I'll try them when I bring my bike out of storage. It does a good job of deflecting cold air and rain from hitting your gloves directly. They are clear and do not block any visibility. They are very easy to install. You may need to bend the metal brackets slightly to fit directly in front of your hand position (on your bike; on your bars). To adjust after they are installed, just remove the clear plastic parts and bend the black metal brackets to the postition you want. Do not bend the part where the plastic deflectors attach. So, I replaced all the screws with SS screws and everything was fine until the next day when I went to the bike an saw cracks around all the screws. Although installation is simple there was no instructions, warnings or notices as to why they used plastic screws. I've seen a lot of National Cycle adds demonstrating how their windshields are near indestructible, I just thought the hand guards would hold up as well. National Cycle was nice enough to replace the plastic screws and only charge me $20.00 plus shipping for new hand guards. With that said I love the way the hand guards work.
