It's TX so we like wind in the summer anyway.! Adds a good look to the front of the bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 01/29/08 byMichael (mbrock29609) from Greenville, SC, United States, for a 2007 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: Can be bolted onto the Memphis shades hardware with a few bolts, fender washers and nylock nuts. If you have an Aero 1100 with these lowers and MC Enterprises engine guards (their newer version that bolts directly onto the frame plate by the neck), the two will collide when you turn the handlebars because the bars slant forward. Not sure if that will be a major annoyance yet, but it does reduce my turning radius significantly when I'm maneuvering in parking lots. *edit* I switched to Cobra bars and now I have no clearance problems. The cobra are better bars anyway. Review Details 1 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Mounted directly to the windshield mounting brackets with chrome bolts purchased at local hardware store...looks great and professional. Review Details 7 out of 7 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 05/19/06 byMagambi (mhamby) from , GA, United States, for a 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: IMHO, don't bother to get a windshield without these. Windshield only block 1/2 of wind. These block the rest. They DO attach to the Memphis Fats mounts. They do NOT hit my highway bars. Some people don't like the look, but everyone agrees they look a H... of a lot better than the Memphis plexiglas lowers. I ahve used both. These also work much better. Installation note: Mine came without mounting bolts/nuts. I am lowering my rating because of this. Otherwise, I love them. Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful. I just installed mine and 90% of the head buffeting is gone. Riding at 70+ mph is a lot more comfortable than it used to be. You won't regret this purchase. (4 stars) reviewed on 06/07/05 byDoug (Neptune) from Port Saint Lucie, FL, United States, for a 1999 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: They came on the bike when I bought it, so I can't give first hand insight on installation, but it appears it would be very simple. I have very little problem with wind buffeting, but again I have not experienced using the windshield without lowers so I can not make a comparison. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? All you need are 4 5/16"x1/2" bolts, fender washers and nylock nuts. Nice pieces of chrome that do a great job of reducing wind buffeting. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. I've owned the Don Haines lowers and Memphis Lowers, but the NC's did the trick and look great. I installed to a Memphis shield with some bolts and LARGE washers - so far working fine.
