I put a National Screens brand on Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter. To be honest I think the windshield looks a bit cheap and the mounting brackets are very average. I suppose there is not that much wrong with it but next time I'll look for something of a better quality and finish.

 
I found the mounting kit did not fit properly and I had to pad it out so it did not slip down.  I must have got a set that was not exact. Mine was very loose, tight would have been better and easier to adjust. Even fully tightened the mount kit was not tight enough. I have used extra rubber shims to pad it out but it still loose.  I still have 1 side sliding a bit, cannot get it to fit properly even with taking it on and off a number of times to adjust.
 
The bolt heads were soft and stripped and I had to go and buy better replacements.
 
I also found the spacers used to position the shield itself a bit clumsy. It is all in place and works properly, I just do not think it was...

Yesterday, home from a long day at work, Nat Cycle Wide Beaded is on and adjusted. Bike looks good, I'm satisfied with fit and tightness of fasteners (at least till I can get to McGuckins and get some red Loctite and 4 '3/8ths' inch longer bolts for the mount to shield points). The wind was blowing out of the North which was perfect for testing. 5 minutes into the ride and I was wondering why I ever rode without a Shield on. The usual stuff to report, engine and chain noise magnified and having the rim of the beaded section right below my P.O.V. took a bit to get used to. All my other Shields had had plain rims. I was pleased to find no significant helmet buffeting so Lowers aren't in the picture for now. It was nice not to have the wind trying to unzip my jacket or turn my courier bag into a sail on my back. I had a nice ride into Boulder, tooled around a while, gassed up and headed home. I can report that my experience with this National Cycle product was a Good one. I had my doubts ...
