Excellent shield, better than the old 22" unit.

Best addition you can make for driver comfort (next to a good seat). I like this windshield except for the two piece area aroung the headlight. This area is hard to clean as it is two layers. the dirt gets in between and you have to disassemble to clean it well. Very heavy duty. My friends windshields (fire and steel) have all cracked. This windshield (and the bike) have been down and the shield still looks good and works fine after 4 years. This windshield also has an inch or two of height adjustment that the others don't have.

Don't like it. The two piece idea makes for too many parts, that're too hard to disassemble and clean. This windshield seems like it was designed 40 years ago for Harley's, and National spent about 2 minutes making it sort-of fit Kawasaki's line-up. When compared with Memphis Shades; No contest, National Cycle is a big loser.

Good shield, but too low for me. I ended up buying the replacement shield for the 'Touring Heavy Duty' to replace the 'Chopped Heavy Duty' shield. Not included in price is the mounting kit (varies by model ~$70) Also note - adjustment range is severely limited when used in combination with the Kawasaki Fire & Steel lightbar.
