Brackets were a pain to put on around the forks, but not too bad. Great to be able to switch between a 2-UP windshield for the cooler rides and the smaller Deflector windshield for the summer rides.

The brackets are really nice and give it a clean look whether the shield is on or not. I installed the Switch Blade system on my bike in about 45 minutes. It wasn't too bad at all with a little patience. Helpful hint: when attaching the "C-clips", insert a tiny screwdriver into the slot to snap it into place. Bring everything snug but loose enough to move and then align it all before tightening. One small drawback to this system is the inability to tilt the angle of the windshield.
