Switchblade mounting kits work great. When mounting hardware onto forks put a thin coat of clear silicone on the inside of clamps. Allow the silicone to cure before clamping into place. This will prevent any scratch marks getting on your chrome fork covers.

Received and installed the National Cycle Switchblade 2-Up Clear Windshield, for my VT1100C2 Honda Sabre with the National Cycle NC-KIT-Q203 Quickset4 Mounting Kit. National Cycle's instructions for mounting the Switchblade windshield are very clear and concise. There are very good pictures in the literature that show what is involved in completely mounting the windshield showing all of the hardware and the correct assembly. Start to finish mounting and adjustments of the unit to my Honda Sabre took 30 minutes. Very easy.

Very slick setup that allows the windshield to be removed for cleaning. Nice to take into the hotel room to clean up after a long ride. Bring your own rag as the bugs don't clean out of the hotel wash clothes easily!

The quickset 4 is easy to install.Study the instructions first and you'll have no trouble. TIP... put a thin film of silicone on the inside of the clamps and let it set up before installing them. They will hold on better and won't scratch your chrome covers.

Best purchase I've made for this bike yet. The installation was even easier than they said it would be. It is amazing how easily this thing is removed and yet how securely it fits . Riding with an open face is much more pleasant on the highways now. Looks great on the bike, tho I prefer the look without it....which is why it's so great to be able to take it off so easily! Definitely take this over any other windshield, it's worth the price. (The hardware, is what's so expensive).
