It is nice to have a removeable one too. These want you to tighten to 75 inch pounds. I broke 2 hex bits trying to do this. Easy install otherwise, just get stong bits. Installation should have been a snap, but I was stupid and didn't realize the brackets had a top and bottom - accidentally had them on upside down when I started. Once I figured that out, it only took about 15 minutes each side. I like that they don't stand out too much when the windshield is off. I dont like the fact that the metal bands are not made for tapered forks. It makes installation difficult and it doesnt look good having gaps between the bands and the forks. One of the brackets had to be ground down a bit for the bolt to be long enough. It would be better if the metal tension straps were chromed, but it doesn't look bad at all for what I was expecting.
