Just received this windshield this week, must say it looks great the chrome bracketing enhances the overall look of the bike, the ease of taking it off and on is brilliant........................have this windshield about two months now it is a gift on any trip no more bug bullets and also lessens fatigue, all good really and when you want to remove it a simple thug and its away to put aside or clean, great product.

All I can say is "WOW". I installed the mounting kit and windshield in 20 Min, Thanks to all the reviews here, I was able to install it will very little effort. I took the bike out in 40 degree weather and wasnt cold at all, imagine when the weather breaks. This is well worth the $$ paid. I highly recomend it to anyone, I love the fact that I can pop the windshield off in seconds and ride without it.

Easy install just make sure bands are "right side up" as well as top one on top. I am 5'11" and do get a bit of buffetting now and the windshield top is just about even with my line of sight, wish it was 2" taller. Goes on and off with ease, very, very nice. No problems with gas tank clearance on my bike, about a n inch to spare on both sides when handlebars turned fully.

I picked this over a factory windshield (which was cheaper) Because sometimes I might fell like haveing the wind in my faceand sometimes I might not.Man I'm glade I did.I installed it in 15 min and I can take it off in 5 sec.Had trouble getting it here because I didnt go through this site but well worth the wait.Best choice I ever made.

Have not installed yet as it was an early Christmas gift but looked at the same on Vstars at the dealer and was very inpressed. The ease of removing is why I bought it. Installed 2/05/05. Very easy to put on, just look at the clamps first to see which way they are tapered to match the taper of the forks. Had to remove one clamp and it was a pain. Would recommend using the torque wrench as suggested. Had to retighten after removing the five times as the instructions said. I am 6' and the height of the shield is perfect for me. Could just see over the top. Seems very tight and secure.
