The windshield directs the air over my helmet and about 80% around my hands and arms. Easy to remove and install. In Nov 2009 I noticed a small crack in the windshield. I am not sure what the cause was, but I contacted National Cycle and they replaced it at no charge. The windshield was 2 years and 4 months old.
