Easy to install although I would suggest doing the install with the initial windshield install (just easier than after the fact). They are good quality and look great. (5 stars) reviewed on 11/01/05 byDarwin (Stillson00) from Ocean Springs, MS, United States, for a 2003 Illusion Blue 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Nice product. Nice chrome. It really helps to cut down on the buffeting from the windshield and the wind on your legs. Not hard to install. The new spider pieces were actly the same length as my originals. Instructions were easy to follow. If you plan to install an engine guard do not buy these. They will most likely come in contact with each other. Now that I have them all is well with the world. Place a piece of cardboard between fork and mounting strap until you get the bolt threaded and then remove it. Measure, following the instructions exactly and you should end up with at least a ¼ inch clearance from tank on each side. The lowers are bolted on with the windshield mounts. Windshield goes on or off in seconds. Review Details 0 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
