Simplicity at its finest. With this system one can easily remove or install the winshield in a matter of seconds. I cannot imagine my bike without the shield especially on long road trips. This is a (MHA) Must Have Accessory.

These are easy to put on as long as your kit comes with the right spider. For the shadow you need 25 mm studs and the kit came with 20 mm. 1 call to national cycle was all it took but still the kit should come with the right 1.

nice chrome heavy duty metal piece. Purchased through dealer and dealer installed for free with mount kit and windshield. Paid a few dollars more but received in 4 days from date of order and earned 10% on customer loyalty card.

I wish the mounting hardware was just a little bit longer. Once the lowers were added, I needed to make some extra clearance for the added thickness of the lower brackets. I had to shave a little off of the upper mounting collar to gain a few extra threads for the mounting hardware. The threads were barely long enough for the mounting hardware.

I am sending the lowers back. I have a Honda Sabre, VT1100C2 with a Switchblade wind deflector and Hondaline lightbar. The lowers will not fit due to the running lights positioning. If I reposition the mounting brackets for the lowers then the windshield will not fit. Grumble grumble... You could modify the lowers but it wouldnt look good and it would be more trouble than it is worth. Also one lower had deep scratches direct from the factory packaging.

These chrome lowers are an absolute MUST when putting on the Windshield. Any and all buffering you get from the windshield alone is gone. When I had just the windshield, I would get wind coming up from the forks and basically up my nose. This fixed that problem. I also think these look sharp! The Customer Service at National Cycle is top notch and they really care about the customer. I've had 2 issues since buying the Switchblade and lowers and they fixed it ASAP - no questions asked and not a penny more out of my pocket.
