1. New Features: Member Locator/Contact Features
Since we sent out the last member newsletter we have been working extra hard
to make CruiserCustomizing more useful to you. We have added two important new features:
a "Member Locator" feature and an annonymous "Member Contact" feature.
Have you ever wondered how many other CruiserCustomizing members live close to you?
Now you can find out easily. Just provide us with your zip code and we'll do
the math for you (no, not the "900 x 2" math 
).
We will be able to calculate based on your zip code alone how many other riders
live within 10, 50 or 100 miles from you and show you the approximate distance.
In areas with many riders like the Bay Area you can further filter it by bike model for example.
Or you can select all riders that live in a certain state or even region. Then you can send an email
message to any member using our new "annonymous email" feature! This is very similar to what Delphi provides
it's members when they allow you to email another member through their profile without giving you the members
email address. That way if the member doesn't wish you to have their email address they can just ignore your message.
Of course if they reply to your message then you will have their email address.
We feel this is an important new feature that will allow you to contact other members to ask them a question
about something they have on their bike. Perhaps you read their review but have more questions. You now
have that capability.
To send a member an email message using this feature just go to their member page by clicking
on their nickname on the "member list" page. Once you are on their "My bike & accessories" page
you will see an envelope graphic next to their member name. It looks like this:
Simply click on the envelope and a dialog box will appear where you can type a message to that member.
Type your message and click "Send" and we will send the message to that member for you. That member will
be shown your email address so that they can reply to your question.
We also provide a link to a local map and a local weather report based on your zip code. Just go to your
"My Bike & Accessories" page to see these links.
And again, all it takes is your zip code. You can enter it in your profile or
on your "My bike & accessories" page directly. It couldn't be any easier.

- On the "member list" we are showing the number of visits to a member's "my bike & accessories"
page. We also adjusted and recalculated this number to not count repeat visits by the same person anymore.
