Awesome bikes at the St. Patrick's Day bike show in Miami
|
Maybe it's because of the great weather year round or because of the biggest motorcycle events hosted in Daytona - but Florida is definitely "Metric Bike Heaven".
Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki cruiser bikes are almost dominating the streets and if you go to biker hangouts like Fudrockers on Friday nights and you can
find the most tricked out rides. Stretched gas tanks, raked forks, bikes lowered to almost touch the ground, LEDs and neon lights to light up the engine at night
- here in Florida it's not a big deal.
After Daytona Bike Week Uwe spent a few more days in Miami and happened to stop by at the St. Patrick's Day Bike Show sponsored by Florida Action Magazine.
Right at the water and under the palm trees people could drool all over all the customized bikes that
entered the contest or chill out and listen to live music or buy goodies from the vendors.
