2. New V-Max Info and Picture
Cruiser Customizing has learned of a rumor that has circulated heavily this year.
With "power cruisers" like the Honda VTX and Harley-Davidson V-Rod, the original
power cruiser, the V-Max by Yamaha, is now eighteen years old.
From our contacts inside Yamaha, Cruiser Customizing has information that 2003 will
be the year for a new V-Max.
This new Max will have a V-4 that will displace at least 2000cc,
as our sources say the current project configuration is approximately 2020cc's
of raw power. The projected horsepower and torque at the wheel are 200hp and
150 ft/lbs. Wow!
A debut should occur at the Munich show in early August.
