1. CruiserCustomizing Member Numbers:

With over 7000 CruiserCustomizing members it's getting more and more difficult to keep track of everybody. Because of that we are introducing CruiserCustomizing member numbers. Member numbers begin with CC and are sequential starting with CC1. (guess who that is?)
You can find your member number and the month that you joined CruiserCustomizing on your "My Bike" page. New member numbers are automatically assigned at the time of signup.
You can use the Member Search feature to search on member numbers and even use it for links: http://www.CruiserCustomizing.com/1

Our merchant partners will soon start requiring you to provide your CruiserCustomizing member number when placing an order with them in order to be eligible for any CruiserCustomizing member discounts. We don't want you to be like Bob Seger and "Feel like a number" so other than when ordering from our partners feel free to use your member name.

Thanks

 Dennis "D-Train" CC1 & Uwe "BIG UWE" CC2

2. Laughlin River Run:

Custom 750 ACE in Laughlin

With over 12000 miles in just over 2 months the CruiserCustomizing promo tour is in full swing. Since my last update I added more photos about Cycle Fest which was the last weekend of AZ Bike Week. The same weekend I was riding with my buddies Dale "dalegreene", Rick "greywolfen" and another friend through Sedona, probably one of the best rides in the country. On my way from Phoenix to San Diego I was fighting with sand storms and insane wind gusts that were trying to blow me off the freeway. I made it safe to San Diego, stopped by at the historic western town of Temecula, stayed a few days in L.A. and visited the Solvang Motorcycle Museum on my way to the Bay Area.

I took off a few days later for the Laughlin River Run at the border of Nevada. Four days of motorcycling, poker runs, test rides, vendor booths, bike/tattoo/bikini contests, concerts and unfortunately also with deadly shootings and motorcycle accidents.

Otherwise it was a great motorcycle event and Evil Knievel did an appearance Saturday night at a concert. He'll do a last jump some time this year. Right on!

My next stop on the tour will be at Myrtle Beach Bike Week in South Carolina next week. With "only" 3000 miles to get there I haven't decided on the route I'll be taking. Suggestions or company along the way are very welcome. Feel free to email me with your suggestions and offers of companionship at uwe@CruiserCustomizing.com

5. Quick Poll

How do you buy your accessories?
I'm an impulse buyer and buy my accessories on the spur of the moment
I only buy accessories that many other people have to make sure they work for me
I have to have stuff that nobody else has on their bikes
I'm searching all over the place to find the best prices
I'm cheap (or broke) so I only buy used or bargain basement accessories
