31 Sabres lined up for a group picture

The 2002 Honda Hoot had all of the ingredients for a successful bike rally:
Almost 20,000 attendees, a great location in Knoxville, Tennessee and beautiful weather.
Plus, Honda is so confident that they even invited all of the major motorcycle manufacturers to
offer free demo rides!
Among the highlights were the previously mentioned demo rides, charity runs, a custom bike contest, a great outdoor
party at the history museum where 31 Sabres lined up for a group picture and a closing ceremony
with thousands of dollars in prize giveaways. The lucky grand prize winner got a Honda
motorcycle of his choice and he picked a Goldwing 1800, not a bad choice at all! ;-)

I finally got to meet long-time member and Site Supporter Ron Frey
|
I also had a chance to meet many, many more CruiserCustomizing members:
Ron Frey (tailgunner) and his Southern Cruisers riding buddies.
Ron has the 2nd most reviews on the site and he has already reviewed 85 accessories for his Aero! He also has a few more accessories
like his 120 db air horn that scared everybody else ;-)
GRNDRGN (redman) on his Aero and his girl friend on a Sabre rode all the way from
Colorado without a windshield!
Ed Moats (DitchWitch) who I met once before at Daytona Bike week in March.

The day after the Honda Hoot I rode the infamous "Dragon", Deal's Gap. 318 curves on 11 miles, and then I took same way back, what a ride!!!
I'm currently at the Wing Ding rally in Fort Wayne, IN and will be heading back to California soon. I haven't seen my
buddy "D-Train" in over 2 months and we have a big party awaiting us: CruiserCustomizing will be one year old on July 19th!
And we will not party alone, stay tuned for details! ;-)
