Honda's 2004 Valkyrie Rune

There have been many rumors and a lot of speculation about Honda's next cruiser models.
The Valkyrie riding community was anxiously awaiting news of a new model of the popular 6 cylinder Valkyrie.
Honda's prototypes from last year created a lot of excitement, but almost everybody was surprised
by the announcement of the 2004 Valkyrie Rune.
Visit Honda Motorcycles to drool
all over this beauty. But don't think it will be easy to get one, only 2000 bikes will be available
initially. It might be easier to get a 100-Year-Anniversary Harley Davidson! LOL ;-)
Honda also completes the VTX family with the new 1300 VTX-C, available early Summer 2003.
2. 2003 CruiserCustomizing Member Calendar - Submit your Photos
Many members have asked us to create a 2003 CruiserCustomizing calendar with photos
of member's bikes. Since there is no biker calender available for us metric cruiser
riders it's about time to make our own.
Here's the deal to make this work: We need you to send us photos of your bikes or photos of yourself
with your bike.
And because we have over 17,000 members we don't just want to show 12 photos. Instead
we'll have around 10 photos on one calender page go give everybody a chance to become famous ;-)
You can take the picture with a regular camera and send us a print, negative or slide.
If you have a decent digital camera or scanner you might send us the photo file instead.
We will select the photos that are best suited for the calendar, please don't try to bribe us ;-)
We must receive your photos by October 15th, so hurry up.
If we'll pick your photo you will receive a free calendar, deal?
Here are some more tips:
- your bike doens't have to be heavily customized to be considered for the calendar, a stock
bike with a nice background might have better chances.
- if you want your photos returned to you please include a self-stamped return envelope.
- make sure your photo isn't too dark.
- Digital photos have to be in JPG or TIF format with a minimum size of 1200x800 pixes and a maximum file
size of 2 mega bytes.
- please send us no more than 3 photos.
- in your mail or email please include your full name, your CruiserCustomizing member name or number,
your address and email address. Mark your prints, negatives or slides with your username so we
won't mix them up. Send them to:
