The new Slogan
|
Time is flying, especially when you are having a ball. Our first year was a wild ride that we only mastered with persistence and the help of our members and Site Supporters. We built a free information web site that thousands of members enjoyed.
In our second year we started selling a few accessories directly to you and the feedback has been amazing. We added more and more brands and almost over night emerged as one of the major online accessory retailers for metric cruisers. The value of the member reviews on CruiserCustomizing combined with our product knowledge and service are a winning combination. We have customers that placed over 20 orders in one year (they are currently being treated for severe chrome addiction ;-) ....)
At the beginning of the year we moved into a huge office/warehouse in Fremont, California. We are now up to 8 people taking phone orders, answering emails, shipping and receiving products, working with vendors and manufacturers. The most exciting change is the web site redesign and the new order processing system with online order status. We made it much easier to find accessories that will fit your bike and gave the site a new face lift. We had a contest to submit ideas and later to vote on the new CruiserCustomizing slogan and the winner received more votes than all the others combined:
CruiserCustomizing - Shared Passion. Individual Style.
Our designers came up with a new logo and great looking CruiserCustomizing T-shirts
Our new order processing system is now integrated with the online checkout. You can have your address remembered for future purchases and check on the status of your order online. The new system allows us to cut the manual labor down to a minimum and automate the ordering, warehousing and shipping. We also signed up with the largest motorcycle accessory distributor in the world and get accessories delivered into our warehouse over night. This allows us to ship most orders within one to two days!
There are now more than 35,000 members and 80,000 product reviews and growing. Just visit your "My Bike" page and see how many other members there are within 10 or 50 miles of you, you might be surprised.
