For most of the U.S. right now, riding season consists of a bike cover and a trickle charger! Not to worry though, as there are plenty of motorcycle movies you can watch in the comfort of your own home. Did you know Hollywood has been pushing out motorcycle movies since the late 1920's? Now that's a long time! Over the past four years alone, motorcycles of all shapes and sizes have been featured in over 86 movies across the world!

With that in mind, we here at Cruiser Customizing would like to present you, our loyal members, the top movies from recent past. They include our current favorites, the timeless classics, and those rare movies in which you asked yourself what kind of drugs the screenwriters were on when they penned the movie, and if they're willing to share! Motorcycle Diaries

Synopsis:
Before becoming the global revolutionary icon known as "Che," Ernesto Guevara was a middle-class Argentinean medical student who, in 1952, left his Buenos Aires home with friend Alberto Granado on a rickety motorcycle. Follow their 5,000-mile trek across South America, from the Andes Mountains to the Amazon jungle, and see how the journey opened Guevara's eyes to the world around him, in director Walter Salles' acclaimed biodrama.

Synopsis:

Hell Ride (2008)

Synopsis:
Pistolero (Larry Bishop) is the leader of the notorious biker gang the Victors who want revenge for the murder of one of their members by rival gang the 666ers. But their plans for retribution may get derailed when Pistolero's buddies the Gent (Michael Madsen) and Comanche (Eric Balfour) start to question their chief's loyaties, and vice versa.

Synopsis:

Hell's Angels '69 (1969)

Synopsis:
What happens when two rich brothers infiltrate Hell's Angels as part of a scheme to rip off Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas? Well, how about violence, action, savagery...and revenge, once the bikers realize they've been duped? Jeremy Slate, Tom Stern, Conny Van Dyke, and the real-life Oakland chapter of Hell's Angels star.

Synopsis:
Acclaimed music video director Joseph Kahn's debut feature stars Martin Henderson as a biker who gets set up to take the fall for the murder of motorcycle gang leader Ice Cube's brother. Now, Henderson must race against time to prove his innocence before Cube and determined FBI agent Adam Scott track him down.

Synopsis:
Called an "'Easy Rider' for the '90s," this road adventure features rockers John Doe (from the group X) and Adam Horovitz (of Beastie Boys fame) as two pals who bike from L.A. to Nevada with the ashes of a fellow cyclist. Along the way, they meet all sorts of eccentric characters, played by Timothy Leary, David Carradine, Arlo Guthrie, and John Cusack. (That's John Cusack with the eye patch!)

The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

Why watch this movie?
The Matrix Reloaded features one of the greatest motorcycle chases of all time. The highly-touted "virtual cinematography" process allows for impossible camera angles as cars hurtle through the air, motorcycles careen through oncoming traffic, and sword battles break out atop speeding 18-wheelers. It´s every bit the breathless tour de force it´s meant to be.

Why watch this movie?
The Great Escape image of Steve McQueen (as "The Cooler King") astride his motorcycle has entered silver-screen iconography, alongside Brando on his bike from The Wild One. Based on a true story about a group of POWs who mount a daring breakout from a supposedly inescapable Nazi prison camp, this rousing and suspenseful WWII epic features an all-star cast, including James Garner, Richard Attenborough, Charles Bronson, Donald Pleasence, James Coburn, and David McCallum.

Why watch this movie?
Dumb & Dumber doesn't have the greatest of plots nor the most impressive direction there is, but it's hysterically funny, which is more than enough for us recommend it heartily!

This is Arnold at his best! It has all the spectacular special effects and awesome stunts that only Arnold and James Cameron can deliver.
