Smell The Glove

Look at your hands for a moment. They are spectacular. These highly complex instruments allow you to manipulate, grasp, interface and communicate. They are your primary tactile link to the world around you; constantly in motion and vital to almost everything that you do.

Now take a look at your riding gloves. Are they up to the job of protecting these vital instruments? We see quite a few riders taking hand protection for granted by wearing inadequate gloves or even no gloves at all. Read More >>

Spring Bike Prep

It doesn't matter if you are a hardcore rider, or if you only ride when the price of gas gets too high to drive. No matter the reason, the riding season is here and your motorcycle needs some love if it has been in hibernation mode.

Here is a quick checklist of things to inspect:

Tires: Check to make sure tires are inflated to the correct air pressure and examine the tread wear. Also make sure that the rubber is plyable and that there are no signs ageing or cracking. Tires have a tendency to dry out and are sensitive to temperature changes. Examine your valve stems. If they are rubber, make sure there are no cracks or visible signs of wear. If you have any doubts about your tires, valve stems or inner tubes, replace them. They are all that stands between you and the road. Read More >>

Rally Time!

The 70th Annual Daytona Beach Bike Week took place May 4th through 13th officially kicking off the Rally Season!

As usual the event was highly "eventful". Certain Cruiser Customizing Staff Members attended this year's festivities, but their names are being withheld to protect the guilty, and they aren't talking either.

There are still plenty of Rally Events on the horizon. They are great opportunities to get some quality saddle time, meet up with old friends, make new friends, and share your passion for motorcycling with others. Motorcycling is a lifestyle that needs to be shared with others, and rallies are one of the best ways to do that.

Here's the 2011 Major Bike Rally Lineup!

The Tip of the Week!

From the Archives!

This month's Tip of the Week Archive Article is the three part series "Converting Your Bike into a Bagger". Baggers are hot right now. They look great and are ideal for long rides and commuting because they allow you to carry more stuff. Carrying more stuff means that you can stay out longer and ride further. Sounds good right?

Check out the 3 part series where Kyle Bradshaw will show you everything that you need to know to convert your bike into a bagger!
