03/2011 Purchased Piaa Powersports 1100X Platinum Two Lamp Kit # 73112 also bought Chrome L-Bracket Bar Clamps - 1-1/4 inch. Mounted lamps on crash bar for motor. Lamps provide much needed light for me and enable others too see my bike also. Excellent product, easy to install. Riding will be safer and more enjoyable. thank you

These babies are BRIGHT for their size! These will definitely let people know you are there as they light up a good-sized area. Light is projected in a pretty wide flood pattern, not a focused razor-like beam, which I think is good. Ease of install varies depending on the bike. When I put them on my Kawi 650R it was quite easy. Installing them on my V-Star 1300 was more challenging as there was less room to work with under the seat for wiring, modules, etc. For me mounting the lamps was a snap as I used existing bolts on the bikes bodywork but their size should allow pretty simple mounting on most bikes.The lighted on/off switch is nice, but it is not waterproof. For a fair-weather rider like myself this is no problem, but an all-weather rider may want to look into a waterproof switch. I also suggest mounting the on/off switch so that you can activate the lights with your left hand. My one concern is that the lights get quite HOT when left on for any length of time, but I have not had ...
