If riding in the Fog or Rain, this bulb is a huge help and greatly improves visibility. The yellow hue takes a little bit to get used to ... but once adjusted, this bulb is AWESOME. I use this bulb September - April as a general rule.
In the summer I run the PIAA-70456 PIAA Powersports H4 Xtreme White Plus Anti-Vibration Bulb which is super bright.
