(5 stars) reviewed on 10/23/07 by tommy jean stiles (steezo9999) from anaheim, CA, United States, for a 2006 600 Shadow VLX wrote: The Stock honda grips have some plastic chrome caps that were really not very pretty, and i had to take out that spacer bar on the inside of the left side of the handlebars because of a nasty rattle, and decided it was time to spring for some new grips. these are a great clean classic look not too obtrusive and you can get a good solid grip on them without feeling uncomfortable. definitely good quality. ive never installed grips so i used an air compressor to blow the old ones off and used the air again to ease these into place. i did use some silicone type glue to glue the throttle side on securely. unfortunately if i ever wanna change grips on that side i think ill have to get a new throttle sleeve.
