(4 stars) reviewed on 01/21/04 byhitech (hitech32) from Altus, OK, United States, for a 04 1300 VTX1300C wrote: Great add on for the VTX 1300C. Install takes a little time on the VTX. Install is okay, If your confident and familiar with throttle adjustments especially down by the carburetor. Recommend the the use of Automotive "Weather Strip Adhesive" for left/ clutch side grip replacement. Use a couple of thin strips of the adhesive and be quick about pushing the grip into place, being the adhesive sets quick on pressure and contact. You will have a worry free, no slip or sliding grip with the Weather Srip Adhesive, especially when it gets hot. On the throttle side remove the factory grease and use a dry lubricant, such as graphite or silicone, to give a worry free, smooth, responsive throttle feel.
