Wow. These should have been the first thing added to my bike. It is like riding a new bike. My passengers have really noticed the difference. I wish I bought these earlier.

bought the 412-4233c - progressive suspension 412 series shocks - 11" cruiser for my vn1500a. lowered the rear end so that the fender fits tighter around the wheel. no more mismatched look of a hiked up rear end like a dirt bike. the ride is very nice, no bottoming out, the kickstand did not need modification. instalation was a breeze. handling on curves is greatly improved and overall performance is awesome. replacement of the stock suspension is a must!!!!

Can't say enough about these. The ride much softer than with stock shocks. I like the look better than the stock chrome. Installation was a snap. Bike on stand, 4 bolts off, 4 bolts on. Took longer to re-set my saddlebags than the install.

Great shocks, though they are stiffer than stock, they give a real solid feel when riding. And they lower the bike about 1 1/2 for nice custom look. Installation was a no brainer - simply lift the bike on a jack, replace each one at a time, then go riding.

Magna suspension needs help and these do the job. Had to remove the lower chrome bell and trim the mounting bracket on the V&H pipes to get these to fit. I don't think there is a problem with other aftermarket pipes.
