I like the look better than the stock chrome. Installation was a snap. Bike on stand, 4 bolts off, 4 bolts on. Took longer to re-set my saddlebags than the install. (4 stars) reviewed on 12/12/06 bymarc (marc_five) from North Hollywood, CA, United States, for a 1998 2-tone red & cream 750 Shadow ACE wrote: i've ridden the bike with the new shocks for about 2-3 weeks now. noticed the improvement on the first couple of rides: feels tighter, more stable, and handles better. the installation is very easy with the use of a lift. one bolt takes off the seat, two bolts get removed and replaced with the new shocks on each side, bolt the seat back on and you're done. you may also have to adjust the lift a little to line up the swingarm distance when you put the bolts back in, but it's very simple. i'm happy with the way it performs and love the springy mechanical look it offers. I got 1" under stock as part of a lowering I did. NIce, although I miss the chrome cover look of the stock shocks a bit. Ride seems a bit less rough. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (5 stars) reviewed on 10/06/06 byBrotherBruce (BrotherBruce) from Cloverdale, BC, Canada, for a 2006 750 Shadow ACE wrote: Installation was simple and quick. Lower riding position is more comfortable since I addedd forwards.. These do take some of the sharpness out of the larger bumps and holes but don't expect a floating ride.Quality apears to be excellent. I am waiting for the rainy season to see how the finish holds up. Review Details 0 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

It lower the rear of the bike about 1,5" .Very easy to install, I made it alone. The only problem is my weight : 187 lbs and with the saddlebags, the sissybar...and my daughter on the rear passenger seat, my fantastic cruzers exausts from Vance & Hines touch the road in right turns. Ggrrrr...Damned...If I knew that I would buy the heavy duty 412-4236C (11,5''). Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Still keeps the scoot low. You jack the bike up just enough to take the pressure off everything and then swap out one side at a time. I'd a been happier with full covers cause I like that look but I'll just live with it. I'm happy enough. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you?
