(4 stars) reviewed on 12/18/12 byDave Griffith (dgriffith) from Oklahoma City, OK, United States, for a 2008 1600 Vulcan Nomad wrote: My air shock started leaking air on the right side. I found out theses are NOT repairable so I ordered a set of Heavy Duty 412 Progressives from Scootworks. I ordered 12.5 inch versus the Nomad norm of 13 and the ride and feel of the bike is noticably better. I have them set up two notches on the shock spring adjustments and for me at 225 that is great. I got the 11.5 inch shocks, dropped it quite a bit. I love the handling. Install was easy, took about 20 min. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 07/16/06 byCJ (cdidiego) from Lake Charles, LA, United States, for a 2005 1600 Vulcan Nomad wrote: Pretty easy to install. I needed to add some spacers to properly space the top attachment point. Other than that, it lowered the bike a good inch and a half if not two full inches. Ride is much nicer and being a short guy, the bike is much lighter at stop lights! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
