Progressive Suspension 440 Series Shocks (Chrome HD, 13.5 in) - Harley Davidson XL Sportster Models

The 440 Series I.A.S. shock is able to separate chassis movement from wheel movement. What you get is a shock that is able to float over the rough stuff, yet won't wallow in the twists and turns. They are absolutely the best shock available when it comes to todays's high torque shaft-drive motorcycles.

I.A.S was developed for automotive use by Edelbrock using Ricor technology. Now refined by Progressive Suspension for motorcycle use. These 440 shocks are the only shocks to offer this level of performance.

The 440 Series shocks are assembled with our famous Progressive Rate springs that come in Standard and Heavy Duty. There are different lengths available for many models as well.

The shocks feature a threaded spring preload adjustment that can be easily adjusted by hand. The shock bodies are powder coated gloss black for a long lasting finish. The shock shaft is treated with a black nitride process that creates a finish that is harder than the "industry standard hard chrome plating" and is also impervious to rust and corrosion. They come with a limited lifetime warranty.
