Cruise Control¨ fork lowering kits are available for most models. These kits, when combined with shorter than stock rear shocks, will give you that low, custom look. Our Cruise Control kits come complete with our famous Progressive rate Fork Springs, spacers, and instructions.

WARNING! Installing a lowering kit WILL decrease initial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns. To maintain proper balanced geometry, we recommend lowering the motorcycle in the rear the same amount as the front.

I wasn't able to finish this job at home, I didn't have the tool needed to remove the damper rod and ended up taking the forks to a mechanic to finish the install. The suspension is a little stiffer, but it handles nice. I love the look of this biker lowered.

Very easy to instal and it lowers the motorcycle nicely. I had a hard time with the instructions (ref the spacer size), because they do not have specific instructions for the Vulcan Classic 1600. I called Progressives Tech Dept and eventually I got a hold of the lead tech. He was friendly and told me exactly what I needed to do. I gave the product a 4 for instal because of the lack of clear instructions for my model.
